Night Work and Water Service Interruption on Ashbridge Circle
York Region is improving the intersection of Highway 27 and Ashbridge Circle. To complete this work, a hydrant needs to be relocated and water service will be temporarily shut off along Ashbridge Circle. To minimize any disruptions, crews will be working overnight.
Duration: Monday, October 27, 2025 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m
Impacts
- Before the water is turned off, please plan to have water available for your business to use. We recommend filling large containers with drinking water and using sinks or tubs to store water. Once service is restored, run cold water taps for a few minutes to clear any air bubbles
- While the work is planned to be as brief as possible, if the outage extends beyond the scheduled time, York Region will contact affected businesses directly and will work to restore service as quickly as possible
- Due to the nature of work, there will be additional construction vehicles in the area
- Access to all businesses will be maintained
As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
