New Graduate Development Program
York Region’s New Graduate Development Program is designed to empower recent graduates with meaningful career opportunities, mentorship and professional development. Rooted in community values and driven by innovation, these programs can help launch your career while contributing to the future of York Region.
The successful candidate will have completed a university degree or advanced equivalent in a related field and must have graduated within the past two years (or will be graduating before the anticipated start date).
The program offers temporary opportunities of up to 24 months across a variety of departments, including Community and Health Services, Corporate Services, Public Works, Legal and Court Services and the Office of the CAO. In recent years, we have hired graduates in areas such as Data Analytics and Visualization Services, Digital Transformation, Social Services and Public Policy. As the program continues to grow, we are expanding opportunities to welcome graduates from an even broader range of academic and professional backgrounds.
Because our needs evolve, opportunities open on a rotating basis across different teams. If you are passionate about making a difference in engineering, accounting, public policy, data, UX/UI design, forestry or beyond, we invite you to explore current opportunities and begin your career journey with York Region.
We take pride in our progressive programs, benefits, employee satisfaction and community involvement.
