Mosaic House grand opening celebration
Newmarket – The Regional Municipality of York and Housing York Inc. are inviting media to a celebration event for the grand opening of Mosaic House, our newest community housing building. The event will include a meet and greet session, formal speeches, a ribbon cutting ceremony and a tour of the building.

- Owned and operated by Housing York Inc. (HYI), Mosaic House officially welcomed its first residents in March 2025
- Located in the heart of Whitchurch-Stouffville, this mixed-income community adds 97 new rental apartments, offering a mix of one, two and three-bedroom units for seniors, families and individuals
- The development was made possible through collaborative support from all levels of government – regional, provincial and federal – demonstrating a shared commitment to expanding affordable housing options across York Region
