York Region Paramedic Services Graduation Celebrates New Recruits

On Monday, April 14, 2025, York Region Paramedic Services proudly celebrated the graduation of 53 dedicated individuals from the 2024 class and acknowledged the promotion of five service members to permanent leadership positions. This milestone event highlighted the exceptional efforts and unwavering dedication required to provide top-tier patient care to the residents of York Region.

Becoming a paramedic is no small feat; it demands hard work, focus and the ability to remain calm under pressure in both physically and mentally demanding situations. York Region's paramedics undergo a rigorous recruitment process, and successful candidates come from diverse backgrounds, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the service.

York Region Paramedic Services provides emergency response and community care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year to the Region’s 1.25 million residents.
