Have your say about road safety on local and Regional roads

York Region’s multi-year Vision Zero Traveller Safety Plan promotes road safety and focuses on reducing traffic-related fatalities and injuries across the Region. The Plan includes local and Regional roads and is led by industry professionals, consultants and road safety partners.

A virtual public information meeting was held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, where we shared year one accomplishments of the Plan, what the current data is showing and our plans for 2025. During the meeting, public input was shared through an interactive tool, which will be used to incorporate into future initiatives within the Plan.

If you missed the meeting, you still have a chance to have your say on road safety. A recording of the virtual public information meeting is now available and public feedback will continue to be collected through our interactive tool until Sunday, May 25, 2025.
