Celebrating Paramedic Services Week
Paramedic Services Week takes place Sunday, May 18 to Sunday, May 25 and serves as a reminder of the important role paramedics play in supporting the health and well-being of York Region residents. This year’s theme is “We Care. For Everyone.”
As part of the celebrations, York Region Paramedic Services is hosting two community events and invites residents to attend and learn more about our health care heroes.

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, join us for a free Open House at Paramedic Response Station 32, located at 53 Jacob Keffer Parkway in the City of Vaughan. The event runs from 4 to 7 p.m. and includes ambulance and station tours, interactive activities and displays, a teddy bear clinic, cotton candy and more!
Our annual Family Fun Day happens in conjunction with Public Works on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 80 and 90 Bales Drive in the Town of East Gwillimbury. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offers a variety of activities for guests of all ages to enjoy!
Thank you to all Paramedic Services staff for their tireless efforts and commitment to keeping residents healthy and safe. We look forward to celebrating you during this milestone week!
