Celebrate Victoria Day and discover York Region

As we head into the Victoria Day long weekend, I wish all York Region residents a safe and enjoyable holiday.

The May long weekend is a wonderful time to relax, recharge and celebrate the unofficial start of summer. It is also a great time to explore the incredible parks, trails, outdoor spaces and local attractions York Region has to offer. Whether you’re spending time with family and friends, visiting one of our vibrant downtowns or enjoying the beauty of our conservation areas and the York Regional Forest, there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of the weekend close to home.

On behalf of York Regional Council, I encourage everyone to stay safe, support local businesses and take in everything that makes York Region such a special place to live, work and visit.
