ORDER A BACKYARD COMPOSTER TODAY WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!  

From June 16 to July 6, 2025 York Region residents can order a backyard composter online at york.ca/Compost for only $35, home delivery and tax included. This is a great deal as backyard composters often retail for $100 each. Your backyard composter will be delivered to your home by July 25. There is a limit of two backyard composters per household.  

If you’re looking for more natural ways to garden with less chemicals and fertilizers, then a backyard composter is for you. Leaves, garden clippings and a variety of kitchen scraps including fruit and vegetable peels can be turned into nutrient-rich compost for your flower beds, vegetable gardens or trees to help them grow.
