Georgina Low Lift Pumping Station Upgrades

York Region is upgrading the instrumentation, controls and electrical systems at the Georgina Low Lift Pumping Station.

Duration:

  • April to November 2025
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; overnight and weekend work will happen as needed

Impacts:

  • No planned impacts to water or wastewater services
  • Access to all residences and businesses will be maintained
  • Work is limited to the pumping station, however there may be increased construction-related traffic in and out of the site

As with all construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other conditions. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
