Water Meter Chamber, Harry Walker Parkway

The Regional Municipality of York is constructing a new water meter chamber north of the Harry Walker Parkway and Ringwell Drive intersection, in the Town of Newmarket. The water meter chamber will measure water flow in the watermain.

Duration:

September to spring 2024

Impacts:

• There will be no planned impacts to your water or wastewater services
• A temporary watermain bypass pipe will be installed near work area on Harry Walker Parkway
• There will be temporary lane restrictions on Harry Walker Parkway, near Ringwell Drive
• A temporary sidewalk will be installed around the work area on Harry Walker Parkway
• Due to the nature of the work, there will be some construction-related noise and dust from equipment and trucks and every effort to minimize this will be made
