Construction on Stouffville Road from Bayview Avenue to Leslie Street
A road preservation treatment, called microsurfacing, will be applied to Stouffville Road from Bayview Avenue to Leslie Street in the City of Richmond Hill. Microsurfacing is a common and cost-effective way to maintain roads with minor defects and extend the road’s life. Road surfaces can feel rougher and sound noisier after treatment, but over time, stones will settle and surfaces will become quieter.
Duration: Late spring 2025 to early fall 2025

Impacts to travellers
The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane closures are required:
- Monday to Friday evenings from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
