Take Root this spring: York Region’s native tree and wildflower sale is back!

Looking to give your outdoor space a natural boost? York Region is once again inviting residents to Take Root and support the environment through its popular native tree and wildflower sale, launching June 8, 2025.
For a limited time, York Region residents can enjoy special pricing with trees for just $10 and wildflower blooms for $15 (tax included). It’s an affordable way to enhance your outdoor space with beautiful native species that provide shade, colour and vital habitat for pollinators.
Choose from 11 native tree species and a variety of wildflowers designed to thrive in our local climate. Each household can purchase up to seven trees and four wildflower blooms online on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
