Improving Access to Affordable Housing in Georgina 

York Region is developing new affordable housing at 187-195 The Queensway South, Keswick in the Town of Georgina.

The development will feature a five-storey building with 86 units, including 32 community housing units, 18 transitional housing units, 36 emergency housing units and 8,000 square feet of multi-purpose community space.

Community members are invited to attend a Community Open House at the Georgina Ice Palace Hall on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for one-to-one conversations with staff and to find out more about this development. Community members of all ages, including local business owners, service providers and media are welcome.
