Get Involved – Resident Engagement Network

York Region is launching the Resident Engagement Network (REN) as part of the refresh of its Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Plan. REN is a new initiative designed to involve residents in shaping stronger, safer, and more caring communities.

By joining REN, residents will have the opportunity to:

  • Share lived experiences to support real, community-driven actions
  • Build new skills through training and hands-on engagement
  • Amplify diverse voices in community safety planning

We’re inviting residents from across York Region to take part—whether that’s leading conversations, supporting engagement activities, or simply sharing their perspectives to help guide this important work.

Participation may be in-person, virtual, or hybrid, depending on the activity.

Engagement runs until December 2025.
