Items in good condition can be donated to charity at select donation centres. Acceptance of items is at the discretion of the charity. Damaged items can be recycled as scrap metal at select York Region Waste Facilities.

York Region is partnering with Markham Cycles (https://www.markhamcycles.ca/programs/rtr/) to collect used bikes, teach people how to fix them and get them back on the road where they belong. Donate your used bikes at Elgin Mills Community Environmental Centre or McCleary Court Community Environmental Centre.

Curbside collection may also be available. Check with your local municipality for more information.
