Take Root this spring: York Region’s native tree and wildflower sale is back!

Looking to give your outdoor space a natural boost? York Region is once again inviting residents to Take Root and support the environment through its popular native tree and wildflower sale.

For a limited time, York Region residents can enjoy special pricing with trees for just $10 and wildflower blooms for $15 (tax included). It’s an affordable way to enhance your outdoor space with beautiful native species that provide shade, colour and vital habitat for pollinators.

Choose from 10 native tree species and a variety of wildflowers designed to thrive in our local climate. Each household can purchase up to six trees and four wildflower blooms online on a first-come, first-served basis.

Choose from two pick-up dates and locations:

• Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
  East Gwillimbury Operations Centre, 19850 Woodbine Avenue, East Gwillimbury
• Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
  Markham Conservation Office, 6 Princess Street, Markham  

Once you’ve placed your order, watch for a confirmation email with all the pick-up details, and don’t forget to bring your proof of payment at pick up!
