Notice of Survey - York Region Sewage Works Project

Please be advised that The Regional Municipality of York is conducting a variety of site and field studies in the Towns of Aurora, East Gwillimbury and Newmarket and City of Richmond Hill.

GHD Limited has been retained to provide engineering consultant services and conduct site and field studies, including natural environment walk-through reviews.

This work is limited to Regional property easements and along Regional and local right-of-ways, which legally allows passage through property owned by another for transportation, utilities and services that benefit the community. No construction will occur at this time. These studies are expected to be complete by fall 2025. Crews will work during the day Monday to Friday, however some weekend work may be required.

What you can expect:

• Surveying crews will be accessing Regional property easements and right-of-ways
• Field study crews will be at various sites taking photos, reviewing natural features
• Access to all homes and buildings will be maintained and there are no planned impacts to water or wastewater services
• Property owners will given advance notice if crews require access to private property
