Student entrepreneurs: Receive up to $3,000 and be your own boss this summer

Students aged 15 to 29 years old, with a business idea and who live in York Region’s northern six municipalities have the opportunity to receive funding and training on how to be their own boss through the Summer Company program.
The York Small Business Enterprise Centre (YSBEC), in partnership with the Government of Ontario, administers this program annually.
The program offers:
- Up to $3,000 grant
- Hands-on training and skills development
- Coaching and guidance
- Mentorship to help develop and launch your business
Running a business is one of the best summer jobs a student can have.
