Through our partnership with the Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests (LEAF), York Region residents can choose from over 50 native tree and shrub species to brighten outdoor spaces and create habitats for pollinators and wildlife.

Receive expert advice from LEAF’s certified arborists who will help select the perfect native tree for your yard. This program includes full-service planting or do-it-yourself options, as well as mulch and tree care resources, making it easy to get started.

LEAF also offers themed shrub bundles, providing four shrubs for the price of three. Themes include Butterfly, Edible, Native Bee, Privacy, Shade, Small Yard and Songbird, ensuring options for every space. All shrubs come with mulch and care resources, with the choice of full-service tree planting or convenient to-your-door delivery.
